Unit worked good out of the box. Signal for Radio is only as good as your antenna. USB port charges IPhone/IPad no problem. I don't care for the display for the songs because it disables the function from the IPhone and makes you use the on screen display on the radio, making it almost impossible to browse your songs easily. Not a big deal... Also please take note when installing. the fuse in the back of the radio is 7.5, thus the fuse in the panel needs to be the same 7.5. If not then you will find your radio will not power properly.

Never worked properly. Ordered in October 2010, installed it in our boat the summer of 2011, and have had nothing but problems.

Quirky radio with great features Aug 10, 2011

pros: Nice features, love the usb port. Great powerful sound. Easy installation.Cheap price for all the features that you get.

Cons: Becomes very quirky when trying to program radio stations into the unit. When I press station search it seems to bypass all the good rock stations and gravitates to all the spanish speaking stations. It drove me nuts when I tried to program it.
The remote control functions well, but it doesn't have a powerful signal strength. The radio is installed in the cabin, so when I 'm at the help which is 4' away, it doesnt work. I have to reach over and point the remote at the cabin door.
Because of the station programing and weak remote, I have to give it 3 stars.
