It works but.. Mar 06, 2009
By Arbi Amiri I have a dual monitor setup on a dual head ATI video card. One on VGA and the other on DVI. I bought this cable for a 3rd display which is my LCD tv for watching movie. Once I connect the TV via VGA the monitor that shares the VGA starts looking grainy. Technically it works.

Works well Jun 05, 2008
By John P. Mordes I use this cable to split a 1280x1024 32 bit color output signal from an older graphics card on a Windows PC. The signals are fed to an LCD monitor and a nearby Sharp HDTV. Connector cables are both 6 feet long. I did need to insert gender changers to be able to use these cables, which I happened to have on hand. The splitter is used principally in order to display digital photos on the large TV (at the PC's resolution and color depth). At this resolution, for this purpose, it all works fine with both screens.

VGA Splitter Cable Mar 21, 2009

"5th grade teacher"
I needed this item so that I could have my monitor and projector hooked up to my computer's hard drive at the same time. Prior to the purchase, I had to unhook the monitor cable every time I wanted to show something from online, or some CD, on the projector. I teach, and it was inconvenient to have to hook and unhook, making my class of 5th graders have to wait on me at times. The only issue with the item is that having the monitor and projector going at the same time can cause a bit of distortion on the monitor itself, and it isn't really a cable issue, but rather you computer's abilities to handle.
