Great Value Jan 19, 2009
By B. Russler Just standard AAAs nothing special there - but the price really can't be beat here as long as you have free shipping. Also, Amazon usually has a promotion going on for batteries where you get something like $10 off for buying $25 dollars or more - so that really sweetens the deal.

All Expired Nov 28, 2009

I received 8 packs of 4 each (32 total) - ALL 8 packs had an expiration date of over a year ago. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BUYING BATTERIES VIA THE INTERNET. I've definitely learned my lesson.

Leaked, destroyed recorder. Mar 04, 2010
By Gerald Franzen After two months in my digital recorder, both batteries leaked destroying a $100 device. I cannot find any warranty against this damage, unlike energizer. No more Duracell for me!
WATCH FOR OLD EXPIRATION DATES!!!!! Mar 16, 2012

Be sure to check the expiration date on your batteries when they arrive. I got some supposed to have a 5 year expire date and they only had 3. AMAZON tried to make it "right" and send me some with 4 year expiration dates while allowing me to keep the ones with 3 year expire dates::::-CAVEAT EMPTOR
