warning, C size but not more capacity than AA Dec 30, 2008
By Perry These batteries may be 'C' size but look at the rated capacity on the package. It is the same as a AA! You are getting ripped off. Real C size batteries have capacities in the 4000 to 5000 mAh range. These will die real fast in actual use. Shame on you Energizer.

Not "C" capacity May 13, 2008
By Elizabeth Akers These batteries are physically the size of C batteries, but they do not have the capacity. They are essentially AA batteries in a larger shell, which means that they expire pretty quickly. I bought these and the overnight charger to power a bunch of baby gear (like swings) and they are a complete disappointment. Don't waste your money. The AA system is great though.

Very Little Juice for a Size C Battery - Same Capacity as AA Batteries Jun 14, 2009
By Nuknuk 2500mAH? Compare this rating with ordinary AA Nimh rechargeables. You'll see a lot of AA's equal and even higher than 2500mAh. No wonder they are very light and HOLLOW. Easy to break because of the empty space inside.
This is one of the first size C Nimh rechargeables that I have bought and seen on the market. You can do as well with AA's using C & D spacers.
Not a good buy.
Reminder: You will also need to buy a new charger than can accommodate "C" size batteries.

2500 mAh? Jul 21, 2008
By skintigh 2500 mAh is what the average AA NIMH battery has for capacity these days. A larger battery should have a much larger capacity than a tiny AA, in fact most rechargeable C cells have 5000 or 6000 mAh.
I wonder if these are just AA batteries put in a larger can...
