 Exactly what I needed Oct 27, 2010

The range on the RKR24 2-unit remote is exactly what I need. I have the receiver plugged into an outlet in the loft of our barn and with the RKR24 I can turn the outside barn lights on from inside the house (easily 50 feet away). I have it mounted with velcro just inside the door to the house. When we need to go out to the barn after dark, we grab the remote and turn the lights on. No more walking to the barn in the dark.
I also purchased the 4-unit remote (KR22A), which is very disappointing. I have to be in the barn for the receiver to get the signal. If the RKR24 2-unit remote will suit your purpose, definitely get it.

Cheap feeling but works well. I use all x10 because it works ok and is so low in price compared to it competition. I also use harmony 1100. I upgraded from this product to the remote with 4 buttons.

This is a handy item to turn lights on from your car or anywhere in your home, but you must also buy the receiver for it at well. It does not function with the standard plug in units alone.

It has great range. Once soldered three wires and hook it up to TTL 7 and 8 on WebControl, its transmitter range is great, can control all 16 house zone and each zone 16 devices. Highly recommended!

Works well. It is pretty small and so I will need to be careful not to misplace it.
