Definitely worth the price! Sep 20, 2010
By Gene After reading a few of the reviews here I thought it best to add one more saying these are worth the price. Small light weight and easy to adjust, I found them to be very useful. My only complaint is that they don't come with a front lens cover. Other than that, they fit the need for easy to carry binoculars.

Not worth the money Nov 20, 2008
By Jack I"ve got 50 year's experience with good binoculars and wanted a knock-around, inexpensive pair that was waterproof, fit in my pocket like these clamshells, and had good optics (obviously). I've generally used Nikon and Bushnells, so I started with those. While these Nikons are light, and well designed, the optics are not good. The binoculars were out of alighment and gave me headaches. I finally decided on Vortex Typhoons - which are a GREAT binocular for the money. I was amazed at the quality of the Vortex over the Nikons and Bushnells.

birding binocular Jan 08, 2008
By Swany
"birder"
Compact, easy to focus binocular. It has a carrying case with strap so it can go to the woods easily. I look forward to using it almost daily from my sun porch and when I go birding this spring.
Great for day hikes! Feb 13, 2012
By Dad5 I have a sport scope and also have full-sized binoculars for sitting on the lodge porch, but I wanted something smaller to carry in the day pack. These definitely fit the bill. I actually tried these out in a brick-and-mortar store first (along with a wide variety of other brands/models) and these seemed to give the best quality for the money. On the trail, they have been easy to carry and great to have at a moment's notice to check out the wildlife. Good product in a fair price range (and cheaper online than in the stores).
Collapsible Dec 04, 2011
By BrooklynBoy Easy to use; easy to store and like nearly everything Nikon makes, worth the money. For an inexpensive pair of binoculars, I am delighted with it and for what it does.
