Easy to use; very precise Dec 02, 2009

I bought this stripper because I used it at school. I love it. I like how it is spring loaded to keep it closed. It fits comfortably in your hand and is almost effortless to use. Also, there is a thumb screw to adjust how deep the blade goes. This is really nice because you don't have to keep guessing how deep to go. The only thing I am weary of is replacing the blade. It uses very small blades and I don't know where I will be able to get them. I'm sure that when that time comes I'll probably have bought another one! I would highly recommend this product to anyone.

Over the years I've had to strip/make up many... many... many... cat3/5 and coax cables and I've not had an easier time doing so until I used the Paladin Tools 1116 Data SureStrip Cutter And Stripper! The tool allows for precision wire stripping removing the cable jacket without nicking the insulation on wires. It fits comfortably in the palm of hand when making wire cuts and easily strips the jacket off round cables with a couple of twists. I am very pleased with tool and definitely recommend it to anyone who handles/installs Cat/coax cabling!

Purchased it to create some cat-6 cables and worked flawlessly. I alos used it to do some electrical work around the house worked great for that too! Much easier than using a razor which is what I have been doing for years. Saves time.
