AAA Batteries Mar 01, 2007
By Sean P. Logue
"If you can't win, change the rules."
So does anyone really purchase the name brands anymore?
So, lets say these batteries aren't as good as the two big brands. Lets also say that they last 20 percent less than the big brands. Would you still buy them? Well, there it is. These batteries will not last as long as the main brand, or the number two brand. But they are a *lot* less money. So, if your batteries are difficult to change, then your choice is clear. Anything else -- this is a good choice.

OK By Me Feb 07, 2009
By BobG Per one of the negative comments - yes this came in a box labelled "Pleomax" however it also says that Pleomax is part of Samsung, so it looks to me like a branding change on Samsung's part, not a bait-and-switch by the seller.
I read in Consumer Reports a while ago that in their testing, generic alkaline batteries are the same or nearly the same as the "big brands" so I've been buying whatever is the cheapest for years with no regrets. These seem just fine - my flashlight shines as bright as ever, gadgets seem to last as long as usual. Given the great price I am a satisfied customer.

Cheap Batteries - Long Life Dec 26, 2007

"Home Boyeeee"
Bought these batteries because of price and name brand. Long-life and alkaline were important to me and that's what these deliver.

all right by me !!! May 02, 2008
By Matthew G. Sherwin Samsung makes a great battery; and these batteries will show you just how good they are made once you try them. I really like these batteries because I often travel by public transportation and I use my portable CD player to listen to music. I always get several hours more use out of these Samsung AAA batteries; and that's grand!
Of course, these AAA batteries can be used in anything that requires them--not just portable CD players. Moreover, the storage pack actually closes neat and clean for you so that the batteries remaining inside the package don't get dusty or exposure to any elements if you're outside camping or something. If it doesn't close all the way you can just use tape to keep it closed until you need more batteries from the box.
The 28 pack offers value, too; and that's important in these expensive times!
Use these batteries before their expiration date. The expiration date will always be several years into the future; but some people still have them lying around in a dresser drawer anyway. The problem is not only do they lose their potency; the batteries also begin to corrode. When the batteries corrode eventually a whitish powdery sticky substance begins to leak out of them and this makes a mess--trust me!
Do NOT dispose of these or ever place these in or near a fire. They could indeed explode. I wouldn't carry them loose either--they should be protected in their cardboard case or they should be already installed in your portable CD player, your flashlight or whatever device you placed them into.
Overall, these Samsung AAA size batteries are the ones to choose if you need AAA size batteries. I highly recommend them for any device that needs AAA size batteries.
