Description:

The 64-Event X10 Mini Timer with dimmer can control up to eight different X10-comaptible devices, all at the press of a button or when scheduled. Simply set all of the modules to be controlled to the same house code as the X10 Mini Timer and schedule individual on/off times for each. You can even connect an appliance module to your coffee pot and set it to turn on 30 minutes before you wake up for fresh-brewed coffee. Timed events can be set for daily use or once only. With a total of 64 on/off times available, you can schedule devices to turn on and off multiple times each day.

Like the previous review, I was disappointed. It worked great for a few months, then the LED display died. Not very well made I'm afraid.

Two years ago, at a different location, I got this as a gift. It died 30 minutes after I plugged it in. The LCD display started displaying randomly and then faded to a blank display. No display after that. I just threw the thing out.

Recently, I decided to try controlling some lights via X10. I remembered this unit and decided to try it again - mainly because it's the only X10 timer I can find. I figured (hoped) the problem I had with the first one was simply a fluke. Well it wasn't. Similar kind of failure. Not sure what the cause is. I'm at a different location now - different home. The power adaptor was pretty warm, but not too warm. My guess is the poor quality LCD's they use for the display are the culprit. Whatever the reason, in the ash can it goes. Last time I ever buy an [...] product.

I had the same problem. This unit was only plugged in for about two days when the display went out. It is really disappointing because otherwise it seemed to work very well. I really wouldn't waste my money on this until they learn fix the display!

THIS PRODUCT WAS DEFECTIVE WHEN IT WAS DELIVERED. THE PRODUCT HAS A HISTORY OF OVER HEATING AND BEING TOTALLY UNRELIABLE. MY PRODUCT LASTED 1 WEEK!!!!!!! Despite all of the complaints, and the serious malfunctions of this product, the company continues to sell this product to unsuspecting consumers. Read and research before buying this product!!!!!!!!!!

This controller didnt work since the very first plug in. The problem seems to come from the power supply. I swappped it with other similar power supply from an X10 controller I have and it worked fine. Lousy quality control system.
