Warning FIRE Hazard Apr 22, 2010 During a power surge from a transformer fire on the street, a number of appliances failed in our house (boiler, stove). Also this x10 appliance module greatly overheated and/or caught fire. Wiring close by as well as the wall was thermally damaged. Model am486.

appliance module for outdoor water feature Aug 29, 2009 This product works very well with an indoor switch to activate an outdoor water feature. I recommend it.

I love modules Feb 04, 2009 Ihave used your modules for years. I have tim candles in all my windows and a remote that when the time comes for them to go on and off that is what they do I would recommend your modules to anybody. They last for years. I even use them for my Christmas lights outside. I am very, very please with them.

Terrible Customer Service Jan 03, 2009 I filled my house with these products thinking that it was great. The system worked okay until one day the $13 transceiver went out. I called customer service and they said that they would replace it but it would take two weeks after they received the part. A month later they still have not got the part to me... They sent it to the wrong address once and I informed them of there error and they assured me that it was fixed. Well it wasn't... Anyway not to bore you with this, my opinion is if you want a cheesy system then buy it, don't plan on using the warranty or customer service though.

X10 AM466 Appliance Module Jan 24, 2008 This is just the item needed to control the christmas lighting outside. With the use of x10 module's we can change the display with out have to go out and move cords or unplug move the cord around and reset the timers. By running a few extra cords then hooking them to X10 you just sit it the comfort of your home and change the display.
