TV-Style remote with X-10 control. X-10 PRO 5-IN-1 Universal Learning Remote. TV style remote with X10 cont rol of lights and appliances. Features an extensive IR code library in addition to the capability to learn IR codes from other remotes. Mode buttons include TV,VCR,CBL,SAT and X10. Requires use of a Wireless Base Transceiver (XPPAT01)and/or an Infrared Command Console (XPIR543) when controlling X10devices. Default mode for RF transmission is code"999." This allows the XPPUR09 to send X10 commands to the XPPAT01 Wireless Base Transceiver. Set the code to "998" to send IR commands to the XPIR543 Infrared Command Console instead.

This remote came with the X-10 video sender I ordered from their site. The remote is extremely cheap feeling and flimsy but the worst thing is, the buttons all stick. I still have it in my closet. Maybe the mice will eat it.

Can't Learn May 06, 2012

I tried 2 of these and neither will learn more that 5 or 6 keys under one function. If you plan on teaching it up/down channel and the number keys . for example, it can't do it. It has a limit on the number of keys it can learn. I bought it to use on a comcast DTA, note their is no code for comcast equipment. It could learn a few keys, up down, so it is better than nothing but barely. Other than that Mrs Lincoln how did you like the play!
