I installed this device along with the Smarthome 2456S3T TimerLinc INSTEON Plug-In Timer. We use it on the farm to extend "daylight" hours in one of our barns. It handles the load of three fluorescent light fixtures. The timer is installed 400' away and communicates with this module via X10 commands. The module does occasionally miss a command so I just programmed the timer with multiple commands spaced 5 minutes apart. For $20 more I should have used an Insteon device that can handle an inductive load. Since they have 2 way communication, I would not have to worry about missed commands.
