Description:

HELP IS JUST A PUSH OF A BUTTON AWAY! The two-button wireless heart-shaped call pendant is designed to work with the Personal Assistant Units (PA5800 & PA9200 from X10 Pro). Simply press the "Call" button and the Personal Assistance units begin dialing for help . Pressing the Emergency Call button will trigger the dialer to go into its alarm mode and call a pre-programmed number. Pressing the Stop button will cancel the alarm, but only after dialing has been completed. The pendant is also water-resistant, so it can be worn in the shower or in the tub!

Works as advertised, good range in average-sized apartment. Wished that it was more water-resistant though as dad-in-law absent-mindedly put it through the washing machine that's why needed to get a replacement.

I think this is the greatest idea around for peace of mind about your elder parents without having to pay a monthly fee for service. We have had one for about 5 years and just bought the second pendant to hang on the wall in a spot that is visited frequently but may not have the other around her neck at the time. The only drawback I have found, is that you are supposed to be able to hear the person when the alert dials your phone. I have never been able to set it up this way.
