 Great option fo smaller phones Feb 02, 2012

I got this car dock for my Verizon Samsung Galaxy Nexus. It fits very tight with a case and hangs out one side awkwardly. Once I removed the end stopper it fit better but still barely fits while its all the way open. It says it will fit the Galaxy Note which has a 5.3 inch screen but there is no way this is true. Beware if you have a phone bigger than 4.3 inches or use a bulky case as it may not fit in this dock.

I ordered this soon after I realized I could use my android phone as a GPS device. I spent a lot of time researching and reading reviews before I settled on this one. I felt that this one was the most solid, flexible and had the best value for the price. After I received it, I was very pleased with the device.
The mount is solid. It will not break under normal use. The suction cup is strong, and it will firmly stay in place on a clean surface. You can screw to tighten and increase the suction strength. The flaps that keep the device in place are adjustable for width and also side buttons. It is actually pretty neat, and I can't imagine a device that would not fit well unless it truly is just too wide. I use it on an HTC Evo Shift and it fits beautifully. The arm has one adjustment point that lets you move it up-down or side-to-side, depending on how you have it oriented. Then the mount piece that the phone sits in is attached to the arm via a ball-joint type attachment that can be used to finesse the proper viewing angle.
There is one gripe however. This is not the products fault, but California's. In California, the mount needs to be within a little box on the lower left or right of the windshield. This mount cannot fit there in most cars because it is too narrow and the way that the arm is structured.
On a separate issue, I had some confusion about shipping. They took probably 3 days before they actually shipped the product. There was some mis-communication and they offered to refund the shipping cost which I felt was unnecessary. I felt the cost is more than fair. I would just recommend that they at least send the customer a confirmation email with a more accurate ETA. This is 2012! I expect instant gratification!

Did not fit my phone model Samsung Galaxy SII (tmobile) after they assured me it would. Then I returned it, and they claimed they never received it on their end, and never refunded me. Very poor customer service, did not provide any help in this matter. Very disappointed in this company all together. So before you buy their products, make sure it's the perfect fit or you will waste your money and be sorry!!!!!

I bought 2 of these mounts. They seem to work quite well and are fully adjustable. I like the sliding clips which allow for adjusting the grips to make way for the buttons and power wire while maintaining a good hold on the phone. My Galaxy S2 Skyrocket fits snugly while in its case, and my daughter's iPhone 4S also fits well while in the case. A well designed product especially at this price and so far appears to be pretty robust. I would definitely recommend it.

Works well with my Blackberry 9810,worth the money spent. Ive had more expensive ones break after just a few uses.
